Registration open soon!

Multi-dimensional program that will provide at-risk youth (15y-18y) with valuable job skills and training to prepare them for future careers. Youth that complete the CO-OP program should see a substantial increase in their standard of living. We are thrilled to be able to offer a unique opportunity for young men and women where they can enhance their job readiness qualities. Our initial phase of the program focuses on interpersonal and soft skills for the first 15 hours. During phase two, youth will have an opportunity to explore several careers, including Facility/Property Manager, Painter, Landscaper, Carpenter, Audio Engineer, Podcaster, Website Developer, Marketing, Financial Accountant, and Entrepreneur/Business Owner. Youth will be responsible for researching the salaries of their chosen career, and following research, a budget will be completed with a cost of living plan. For Phase three, each youth will be assigned a staff member/mentor who mirrors their career interest. The youth and mentor will work on a hands-on project at the CO-OP where specific jobs and responsibilities are detailed. Phase four is all hands-on deck, and youth will transition into their independent work-to-learn role for up to 20 paid hours weekly at Vale CO-OP.

This program can also be utilized by schools as a virtual learning site for students who have an alternative educational plan.
